Easiest biology topics (Discussion)

What were the easiest topics in biology for you?

When I was studying in high school, genetics were the easiest for me to comprehend. Punnett squares and inheritance seemed a breeze compared to the process of protein synthesis. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed learning the different functions of a cell’s parts, but the actual process was so confusing for me…

I hated biology. It’s the one reason why I didn’t go into pre-med studies.

Some of it was interesting… I remember a great discussion on how tomatoes are out to kill me. But there was too much boring memorization, it was awful. Genetics were better than most because there was less to remember…

I found most people got stuck on protein synthesis. I had trouble keeping my numbers straight when we studied mitosis and meiosis. Punnett squares were sooo (mindlessly) fun! :-)

Biology is a very interesting subject in science. Biology is my favourite subject. and being a biotech student i liked gene expression and DNA replication and repair mechanism.
